We've been busy! Here's a look at the new features and improvements added to Mosaic over the last three months.

Planbooks & Curriculum Standards Tracking

The biggest addition this quarter is a complete overhaul of the curriculum module, including a fresh design of planbooks and a new curriculum tracking system.

• Dashboard - View upcoming lessons, course info, and quick links at a glance

• Unit & Lesson Management - Organize content with a master-detail layout, autosave, rich text editing, and print-ready views

• Sharing & Permissions - Share planbooks with colleagues with controlled access levels

• Standards Alignment - Tag lessons and units with curriculum standards, then review coverage in an alignment matrix and gap report

  Calendar View - See lessons on a calendar with drag-and-drop rescheduling

• Week View - View a full week of lessons side by side with inline editing

• Copy & Archive - Duplicate planbooks across years, archive old ones, and recover deleted items

Curriculum Standards Administration

• Standards Import - Import standards from an internet database of thousands of jurisdictions and standards sets

• Custom Standards - Customize an existing set of standards for your school, or write your own sets of standards from scratch

• Tags and Priorities - Use custom tags and priorities to designate which standards are essential or priority for your school, supporting standards, and any other designations

• Drag-and-Drop Reordering - Powerful control for rearranging standards levels and items with ease

• Course-Level Linking - Designate whether standards sets are linked to specific courses, or at the school or subject level

• Teacher Curriculum Page - Teachers can now see their content and institutional standards in one place

New Academic and Student Reports

• Conduct Report - New report for student conduct records

• Modified Standards Report - List all students with curricular modifications

• Academic Alerts Report - Identify at-risk students based on configurable criteria, including missing or late assignments, low grades, and failing classes

• Student Absences Report - Powerful filterable absence reporting

• Class Grade Overview - Teachers and administrators can now see a year summary of grades for specific class

• Gradebook Export - Easily export gradebook data

• Late Assignment Tracking - Mark assignments as late to track student academic habits concerns and patterns

• Batch Download Report Cards - New process for administrators to easily download all progress reports or report cards in merged PDF or zip files

Student Support

• Support Staff - Assign primary and additional support staff members for individual students, and easily view which teachers are supporting which students

• Support Documents - Attach and manage support-related documents directly in the student profile

Other Improvements

• Email Validation - Verifies whether email addresses are valid at the time of entry, reducing data entry errors

• Calendar Visibility Toggles - Easily show or hide individual school calendars by clicking them in the legend

• Staff Profile Activities - New panel showing staff activities on the profile page

• Date Picker Upgrade - Replaced the old date picker with a cleaner, native one that respects your school's date format

• Configurable Staff Statistics - Statistics categories can now be customized

• Visual Polish - Improved button colors for better contrast, standardized navigation buttons
